Newcastle United officially announced that it would sign 16-year-old Isaac Moran from Liverpool. According to previous media reports, Moran rejected Liverpool's scholarship renewal contract.

Moran is a 16-year-old England youth international who will join the U18 echelon coached by Chris Moore as a first-year scholarship player.
Moran grew up in Liverpool's youth tier and made his first appearance for the Liverpool U18 tier when he was only 15 years old in March 2024. The defender has been captain of England at the youth level and has made six appearances at the U15 level.
