According to the Daily Mail, Yorke will be summoned by a witness in the case of media defamation as an agent and may miss Arsenal's two Premier League games next year.

[Related News] Sun: A shooting occurred at the home of a relative of Yorke's agent. Swedish police are investigating

news that Yorke was involved in a highly-anticipated legal case in Sweden. His agent Sitinkaya filed a defamation lawsuit against two Swedish media outlets Fotboll Sthlm and Expressen for alleging that Sitinkaya and its agency HCM Sports Management have ties to the criminal gang.

Yorcres was summoned as a witness in the defamation case and will testify for the broker in 2026 in the Stockholm District Court.

The investigation of Sweden's largest football agent, Setinkaya and his company, was released last year by Expressen and Fotboll Sthlm, claiming that people associated with organized crime were involved in recruiting new talents for HCM.

Setinkaya denied the allegations and sued Expressen and its editor for libel, saying: "I have reached a height that Swedish agents have never reached through natural growth and have not been influenced or supported by any criminals."

Yorcres will testify that he was a childhood friend of the agent and that Setinkaya or HCM Sports Management has no personal or professional connections with the criminal organization. The trial of the

case will be held from February 4 to 11 next year. During this period, Arsenal will play two Premier League games, namely home against Sunderland and away against Brentford.

It is not clear whether Yorke's involvement in the case will affect his appearance. Yorketh himself was not suspected of any crime. He declined to comment after last night's World Cup qualifiers.

【Incident Background】

Last month, it was reported that Swedish police were investigating a shooting and possible blackmail incident involving the relatives of Yorke's agent.

There are speculations that the incident may be related to Yorke's transfer, as the relative allegedly boasted that he received a portion of the transfer fee. Swedish police have previously expressed concern that organized criminals may blackmail professional football practitioners.
