Bayern officially announced the signing of Leverkusen defender Jonatan Ta today. After the transaction was completed, the player himself accepted an interview.
Jonathan Ta said: "I am extremely excited to join Bayern. I am willing to take responsibility and help the team win more honors through daily efforts."
29-year-old Jonata was from Hamburg youth training. In August 2013, he completed his Bundesliga debut at the age of 17 years, 5 months and 23 days, setting a record for the youngest appearance in the club. After Dusseldorf's loan period, he transferred to Leverkusen in the 2015-16 season, making a total of 402 appearances, contributing 18 goals and 13 assists, and won the Bundesliga, German Cup double championships and Super Cup with the team in 2024.
After completing his German team's debut in March 2016, he has participated in the 2016 and 2024 European Cups. Currently, the national team has made 35 appearances and has previously served as the captain of the German U19 and U21 youth teams.
