Brentford official: Winterbotom and Benjamin M will leave after their contract expires this summer

Recently, Brentford confirmed on his official website that Ben Winterbotom and Benjamin M will leave the club after their contract expires on June 30. Joshua da Silva's contract will also expire on June 30, but he will continue to undergo rehabilitation training at the rehabilitation center.

Da Silva last appeared for Brentford on January 31, 2024, when he suffered a serious knee injury during training and underwent surgery the following month. We will provide further updates about the midfielder in due course.

Benjamin Mi joined Brentford in July 2022 as a free transfer. During this period, he made a total of 67 appearances and scored 5 goals. In his first season at the franchise, he missed only one game, helping the team finish ninth in the Premier League. With his outstanding performance, he was named Brentford's Player of the Year 2022/23.

The former Burnley defender made 18 appearances last season and scored against Luton and Nottingham Forest. He made 11 more appearances this season, including starting in every League Cup round.

Ben Winterbotom joined Brentford B from Liverpool in January 2021, often training with the first team and officially promoted to the first team last summer. In the 2023/24 season, he was loaned to the National Southern League team Weilin United, making 14 appearances and maintaining two clean sheets.
