According to the British media "Daily Mail", Alan Shearer's daughter Chloe announced her engagement to her rugby star boyfriend Mickey Young, and Shearer quickly sent his blessing.
Chloe, 33, shared the news on Instagram that her boyfriend Mickey Young proposed to her at Wilm's Brewery in Newcastle. She captioned the photo, "Forever Young," a subtle nod to Mickey's last name.
Mitch Young retired in 2023. He played for the Newcastle Falcons in the Premier League for most of his career. He also played for Leicester Tigers and Bath, and briefly joined Toulouse and Gloucester in 2023.
In response, Alan Shearer quickly responded: "The wait is finally over."
Chloe's sister Holly also sent her blessings. She wrote: "The best news! My sister is engaged!"
Chloe is engaged in talent management and has participated in the annual charity football event "Soccer Aid". Her engagement comes a year after Holly announced her own engagement.
