Although dogs rarely sneeze, pet owners will always encounter this situation after raising dogs for a long time. When a dog sneezes, pet owners also need to be careful and vigilant. Sneezing of a dog does not necessarily mean catching a cold, and there are more serious reasons. If you do not pay attention to it, the dog may die!

1. Smelling irritating smells

Dogs are animals with very sensitive sense of smell and can smell many scents in the air that cannot be smelled by humans. Among them, the irritating smell is one of the culprits that cause dogs to sneeze. For example, the smell of formaldehyde and fried peppers will destroy the nasal mucosa of animals and cause sneezing. Especially in houses where formaldehyde exceeds the standard, they all cause dogs to sneeze. If they insist on staying, they may lose their lives!

2. Dust allergies

Dogs, like humans, have allergic constitutions. Dust is one of the reasons why dogs are allergic to sneeze. Don’t underestimate dust allergy. If a dog is allergic to inhaling dust, it will cause difficulty in breathing, asthma, cough, sneeze, nosebleed, and severely damage the respiratory system and lose the dog’s life.

3. Canine kennel cough

Dog kennel cough is a type of infectious bronchitis in dogs and is a highly infectious respiratory disease. It can be infected by adults and puppies. Dogs suffering from this disease will have runny nose, coughing and sneezing, listlessness, decreased appetite, and low fever. You need to be sent to the hospital for treatment in time, otherwise it will affect your life and health.
