Dogs’ dining etiquette training, take a look at these things

Dogs should also be trained when eating like children. Otherwise, it will be very easy for dogs to snatch food directly from their owners in the future, which is neither safe nor polite. Here are some basic etiquettes for dogs to eat:

1. Let the dog sit down obediently. Place food in front of the dog or let it smell the food to attract the dog's attention, then hold the food high above the dog's head while asking the dog to sit down. Dogs usually look back at the food, fearing that the food will disappear suddenly.

2. Slowly place the food one step away from the dog. If the dog rushes forward and wants to eat the food, take the food away and prevent it from eating. We must let the dog hear the command to issue the "Come on" before it can eat.

3. After the dog sits down obediently, wait for about 5-10 seconds, and the owner can issue a "meal" command and push the food to the dog. Be careful that the dog's patience is limited. Don't let the dog wait too long when starting training, so as not to lose the motivation to wait and be unable to implement the training.

Notes on dining etiquette training:

1. This training is easier for puppies to master. If it is a big dog, be careful not to scratch your hands when you are protecting your food.

2. Food is extremely attractive to dogs. If the dog responds very strongly, there is no need to force the dog to learn this training.
